ReplyDeleteAlthough it says "The magazine is from 1939," the photo was taken on November 6, 1937. On the cover of the magazine "ASAHI Graph" it says that it is Volume 29, No. 12, dated December 1, 1937 according to the Japanese calendar, so I think the 1939 magazine is completely wrong.
